Hi, I'm Lewis, I'm 40 with a Masters Degree in Games Design from Teesside University, UK.

I have a huge passion for video games design and I mainly work on creating in-game mechanics, such as character abilities, combat, & dynamic puzzle systems.

However, I am not just limited to mechanics as I enjoy working on level design, that feature various missions and involve problem solving. This stems back to my childhood where with my mum, I would play games like Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda, The Secret of Monkey Island & Tomb Raider as well as UI/UX, economy design

I also have knowledge and experience creating AI behaviour trees, in-game character animations, quest systems and UI.

As well as basic animation and 3D modelling skills.

I am constantly improving my skillset in games design, whilst also following popular trends in both the latest indie and AAA titles.

My biggest inspiration growing up was Shigeru Miyamoto. Most of my childhood was spent with Nintendo consoles, although I wasn't limited to only Nintendo. I enjoy the unique level designs of Super Mario Bros. as well as the challenging puzzles that can be found in games such as The Legend of Zelda franchise, with my personal favourite being the N64 classic The Ocarina of Time. Other inspirations include Cliff Bleszinski, Hideo Kojima and Peter Molyneux.

Having spent most of my life around video games, and I have been working within games design for over 10 years. I have worked as a general game designer, senior game designer, lead game designer and lead level designer. As well as roles as a producer, project lead and creative/development director.
