Creative Director & System Designer – SaGuNi Studios – Devomon: Callisto
I worked as the Creative Director and System Designer on Live-ops Web 3 game, that is a Genshin Impact X Digimon inspired dungeon adventure game. My tasks included creating design documentation for all aspects of the game. I was brought into to completely overhaul the game.
Character Creation – I created the designs for the characters abilities and move-sets, their overall statistics including levelling up, elemental types and evolutions
Game Economy – Worked on the monetization of the game, such as in-game loot, gems, and collectables. As well as gacha packs.
Dungeon and Level Design – Randomized dungeons based on 4 different large scaled dungeons that could be used similar to metorid-vania style game play with a central area and multiple doors that lead to various locations, with each dungeon being unique having a passage way blocked or a door in it's place that the user would have to unlock somewhere else in the dungeon.
Quest Design – I worked on creating a mini story mode for the game that was to be split up into different chapters and each chapter had 10 unique levels and bosses to give the player the story of Callisto.
Combat Design – Created hit reaction and knock back mathematical equations based on the characters weight, boosted stats and its attacking opponent.
Third-person Camera Design – Whilst working on designing a lot of the new mechanics for the game, I also case studied into Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves to create a camera system that was not as restrictive as these games had.
My main role as creative director included sprint planning with the CEO​ to set goals and milestones as well as attending weekly meetings with development team​
