

Final Year Project
For my final year project I wanted to create something from my childhood which was a classic 2D side scrolling beat-em up. This was because I would spend alot of my time in the arcades as a child playing games such as; Double Dragon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and X-Men. As well as console classics like; Golden Axe and Streets of Rage.
This project really tested my knowledge of Unreal and was a very big learning curve for me on what I could and couldn't achieve in the engine and also helped me in wanting to further my knowledge of the Unreal Engine. In the end the game wasn't polished enough for my liking so I turned the game into a showcase that had all the barebones available to create a playable level using the assets and blue prints I had provided. The A.I was very limited and this is one of the areas that I aim to improve my skillset in for future projects.
